This rare engraved bottle was released in commemoration of Ficklin Vineyard's 50th Anniversary by winemaker, Peter Ficklin. It is also a tribute to founding winemaker, David Ficklin, Sr. Delicious and silky, it is lush with flavors of cherry and plum.

First released in September of 1997, the 1988 Vintage Port features the exuberant fruit of the Tinta Madeira grape. Touriga, Souzao, and Tinta Cao were added to build the wine’s structure and enhance its full array of flavors. Blended early in 1990, this wine was further aged in small oak cooperage before bottling in January 1991, and shows a lush array of plum and cherry flavors.
