When initially released, this Port won Bronze in Olympic-style competition; and recently received Gold at the California State Fair earning 95 points! Bottled in May of 1994, this Port now has over 22 years of bottle aging. Prior to blending and bottling the wine spent 2 years in neutral oak tanks, while a portion of the Tinta Madeira aged in neutral 50 gallon oak barrels. This wine shows a lush array of plum, cherry, tobacco, and leather.
