An average of four years old when drawn from the Solera to be bottled and cellared in 2012, this Port was selected from the family library for a special and limited release. Already, it is developing the subtleties of flavor attained with the patience of additional bottle age. The extra time in bottle has softened the aromas and transformed the intricate flavors, highlighted with ripe blackberry, cashew, espresso, and hints of fig. Certainly ready to drink now, it will also acquire further softness and Vintage-like character with extended maturation in your cellar. This Library Tinta Port will require decanting.
